New web site launched on outreach programs

23 January 2002 | More than 50 campus educational outreach programs serve teachers, school children and community college students in the Bay Area and beyond.

This month the Center for Educational Outreach has launched a web site — “Kindergarten to College: UC Berkeley in the Schools” — which provides information on these widely varied programs.

Users will find information about the university’s outreach mission, a list of outreach programs, and a calendar of outreach events. The site also allows for simple word-based searches. A more sophisticated search engine, and useful links to off-campus sites, will be added in the near future.
