Graduating
seniors at UC Berkeley cheered a keynote address by former
U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno on Wednesday, May 9 at Commencement
Convocation. The seniors, families, friends and university
faculty and staff nearly filled the Hearst Greek Theatre.
Chancellor Robert Berdahl congratulated the graduates, and
Pulitzer Prize-winning history professor Leon Litwack stirred
them with a call to keep challenging old or prevalent ideas
with new and radical ones.
