WHAT: The third annual Leading Edge Technology Conference, organized by students at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Entrepreneurs, business leaders, alumni and students will gather to discuss today's technology marketplace and ideas for the future.  
WHEN: Friday, Sept. 22, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 23, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
 
WHO: Keynote speakers include Jim Clark, founder and chairman of myCFO.com and shutterfly.com and founder of Netscape, Silicon Graphics and Healtheon (Sept. 23); George Shaheen, president and CEO of Webvan (Sept. 22); and David Ditzel, CEO of Transmeta (Sept. 23). All three, plus Haas Dean Laura D'Andrea Tyson, will be available to the media after their speeches.  
WHERE:

UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, Arthur Andersen Auditorium. The school is located on Gayley Road, between Hearst Avenue and Bancroft Way.

The conference will feature 13 panels headed by industry leaders including Ariba, Ask Jeeves, Cisco Systems, Commerce One, Healtheon/WebMD, Jupiter Communications, Loudcloud, Napster, Nortel Networks, Omnisky, Red Herring Communications, Shockwave.com, WebTV and Yahoo!

Attendees may participate in the panels. There also will be a product fair.
