author of "The Time Bind: When Work Becomes Home and Home
Becomes Work," was recently a Fulbright Scholar in Kerala,
India, where she studied the effects of globalization
on women. She is co-editing a book on the topic with Ehrenreich.
Hochschild is co-director of UC Berkeley's Center for
Working Families. |
