WHAT: |
The
11th Annual Haas School Conference on Financial Reporting,
at which senior representatives of the Financial Accounting
Standards Board (FASB) and the Securities and Exchange
Commission (SEC) will report on current and emerging
issues.
The
conference will include sessions on revenue recognition,
recently put on the front burner by the SEC in response
to SEC concerns about financial reporting abuses and
earnings management. The conference also will cover
recent developments with respect to the accounting treatment
of mergers and acquisitions.
