lecture by author and psychiatrist Price M. Cobbs, M.D.,
who wrote the book, "Black Rage," 30 years ago, about
his upcoming sequel, "Beyond Rage: The Search for an
American Identity." He also will discuss his newly-released
book on accessing untapped powers of leadership and
achievement, "Cracking the Corporate Code: From Survival
to Mastery."

Cobbs'
books "Black Rage" and "The Jesus Bag," the latter co-authored
with William Grier, have become classic texts in African
American literature. His 30 years of working with racial
issues in America and around the globe have now resulted
in two new books: a sequel to "Black Rage," and one
that provides a glimpse into the world of African American
men and women executives, co-authored with Judith Turnock
Esq. Cobbs will sign copies of "Cracking the Corporate
Code," a resource guide for African American leaders.
He
will be honored at this public meeting and reception
by the Bay Area Association of Black Psychologists.
The event is co-sponsored by UC Berkeley's departments
of psychology and African American studies.
