WHAT:
"Rising Asia: A New Chapter of Opportunity," is the topic of the Haas Asia Business Conference at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Leaders in technology, international business and public policy will discuss the present and future of business in Asia.
Panel topics include capital markets and venture capital,
manufacturing technology, biotech, e-commerce and localization,
telecommunications and wireless, and entrepreneurship.
A simultaneous product fair offers hands-on experience
with new technology coming out of Asia through companies
such as Toyota, which will bring its hybrid gas/electric
car Prius; Kivera, which will bring its MP3 players;
Creative Technology; and Sony.
