WHAT:
"Emerging from Troubled Waters: Turning Crisis into Opportunity," the second annual Haas Asia Business Conference at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business.

The conference will explore how Asian companies rose to dominance in technology, manufacturing and electronics and how these companies have persevered despite unstable economic environments.

Panel topics include:
* Japan's video gaming industry
* Implications of China's induction into the World Trade Organization
* Software development the Indian way
* What's hot and what's not in Asia's manufacturing
* Telecom and wireless growth in Asia
* Emerging trends in private equity investing in Asia
* Trade policy as a competitive advantage in Asian economies

The conference will showcase the latest products from Sony, Honda, VIZ, Inter Square, NEC Electronics, Entertainment Robot America and Walden International. Other prominent Asian companies also will be displayed at the event organized by Haas School MBA students.
