WHAT
A public viewing on Wednesday of the televised debate on the California gubernatorial recall, followed by a panel discussion by representatives from University of California, Berkeley, student political groups.
The UC Berkeley event is being hosted by the Institute of Governmental Studies's Center on Politics and the Col. Charles T. & Louise H. Travers Program on Ethics and Government Accountability.
WHEN
Wednesday, September 24. Individuals are invited to gather at the institute from 5:45 p.m. until about 7:30 p.m. to watch the 90-minute debate, then stay for a panel discussion that will run from the debate's conclusion until approximately 8 p.m.
WHERE
The Institute for Governmental Studies' library, 109 Moses Hall, UC Berkeley.
WHO
Post-debate panelists will include representatives from the Cal Berkeley Democrats, the Berkeley College Republicans, the Cal Berkeley Green Party, the Associated Students of the University of California, and the Undergraduate Political Science Association.
