WHAT
The University of California, Berkeley's 2004 Fall Convocation, an event honoring all new students. Remarks will be made by Chancellor Robert M. Berdahl and other campus officials, as well as the new president of the Berkeley division of Associated Students of the University of California (ASUC).
With a new chancellor arriving later this year, this will be one of Berdahl's final addresses to a large group of students. This fall, there will be an estimated 3,713 new freshman, 1,725 new transfer students, and 2,780 new graduate students on campus.
