"Philip Morris Companies to Altria Group: Has Anything Really Changed Beyond the Name?" a discussion sponsored by the Rudolph Peterson Business Ethics Lecture Series at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business.

5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13.

The Haas School's executive education classroom, S480. The business school is located on the west side of Gayley Road, near Memorial Stadium.

David Greenberg, senior vice president and chief compliance officer for the Altria Group, whose products include Marlboro and Virginia Slims, and processed foods Velveeta and Cool Whip. Philip Morris Companies, Inc., the parent company to Kraft Foods, Philip Morris USA, Philip Morris International, and the Philip Morris Capital Corporation, changed its name to the Altria Group, Inc., in 2003.

Greenberg is responsible for company compliance with corporate social responsibility objectives and integrity within the company, including employee conduct. He will make a brief presentation, then engage in an open discussion with the audience. Kevin Sweeney, a Haas School lecturer in socially responsible business, will moderate.

The event will be simulcast in the Bank of America Forum at the Haas School.
