WHAT
"Diversity in Action: Leading the Nation through Research and Practice," a forum on moving the University of California, Berkeley, toward developing a research agenda on diversity for the campus and for the state. It is co-sponsored by the UC Berkeley Office of the Chancellor and the UC Berkeley Division of the Academic Senate.

Forum highlights include a keynote address by Dean Christopher Edley of UC Berkeley's Boalt Hall (School of Law) and a panel discussion with professors Paula Moya and Dorothy Steele, both from Stanford's Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity; Professor Jeannie Oakes from UCLA's Institute for Democracy, Education and Access; and Edley, co-founder of the Harvard Civil Rights Project.
