WHAT
A free lecture at the University of California, Berkeley, by Tim Flannery, author of "The Weather Makers," a new book about the latest research on global climate change.
Flannery is an internationally acclaimed scientist, explorer and conservationist. He is director of the South Australian Museum and chair of the South Australian Premier's Science Council and Sustainability Roundtable.

The lecture is sponsored by the Berkeley Natural History Museums (BNHM), a consortium of UC Berkeley museums. Its members include the Essig Museum of Entomology, the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology, the Phoebe Hearst Museum of Anthropology, the UC Museum of Paleontology, the University and Jepson Herbaria, and the UC Botanical Garden.
