DETAILS
Reid is a longtime advocate for airline industry innovation and reform. He is leading a management team that he says is determined to build a new high value, low fare, U.S.-owned, California-based carrier that customers will support. Most recently, serving as president and chief operating officer of Delta Air Lines, Reid oversaw the creation of Song, the first competitive, low fare airline launch among the six major U.S. network carriers. He also headed Delta Connection, the world's largest fleet of regional jets, and built SkyTeam Alliance, the world's most integrated global airline partnership.
The Business Forecast Luncheon is an annual event featuring business leaders' views and forecasts of their particular industries or areas of expertise. The event is organized by the Haas School of Business primarily for the school's alumni and their guests. Past speakers include alumni Paul Otellini, now CEO of Intel, and Arun Sarin, now CEO of Vodafone.
