A panel discussion at the University of California, Berkeley, on "The Consequences of the War on Terrorism."

WHEN
7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 19

WHERE
Zellerbach Hall, on campus near the intersection of Bancroft Way and Telegraph Avenue.

WHO
Participants will include:

  • Financier George Soros, author of "The Age of Fallibility: The Consequences of the War on Terrorism"

  • Chris Edley, dean of UC Berkeley's School of Law (Boalt Hall)

  • Mark Danner, a UC Berkeley journalism professor and author of "The Secret Way to War" and "Torture and Truth"

  • Lowell Bergman, UC Berkeley's Reva and David Logan Distinguished Professor of Investigative Journalism, correspondent for "Frontline" on the Public Broadcasting Service, and a Pulitzer Prize winner

  • Dana Priest, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and national security correspondent for the Washington Post

Orville Schell, dean of UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, will moderate.

The event is sponsored by the Graduate School of Journalism. Tickets are $10 for general admission.
