WHAT
"Ethical Worlds of Stem Cell Medicine," a two-day conference at the University of California, Berkeley, and at UC San Francisco (UCSF).

The program will feature expert panel discussions about the ethical issues relating to the interplay of patient activism/advocacy and disability rights; procurement of stem cells; minority and diversity representation in stem cell medicine; academic and industry alliances; and the implications, risks and benefits of public and commercial alliances in stem cell research.

WHEN
2-5:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 28, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 29

WHERE
Thursday's session will take place at UC Berkeley's Doreen B. Townsend Center for the Humanities, 220 Stephens Hall.
