WHAT
"Investing in Emerging Markets: China, India, and Russia," a conference at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business, about the challenges and opportunities of investing in these three fastest-growing emerging markets.

This year's conference will focus on the globalization of research and development, with panel topics on movement across borders, Internet technology and devices, and biotechnology. Speakers will include corporate executives, scientists, venture capitalists and policy makers.

  • Ta-Lin Hsu, chairman and founder of H&Q, Asia Pacific
  • Thomas Kalil, special assistant for science and technology to UC Berkeley's chancellor
