WHAT
"The 2006 Governor's Race: An Inside View," a two-day conference being held by the University of California, Berkeley's Institute of Governmental Studies.
Campaign managers, journalists, pollsters, pundits and top officials from the three major gubernatorial campaigns will join with professors from UC Berkeley, Stanford University, UC San Diego and elsewhere to discuss the battlefield on which the governor's campaign was fought. Panelists will take a look at the primary and general elections, explore the motivations of the California electorate, and reveal day-to-day campaign strategy and tactics.
