Building the C.V. Starr East Asian Library

Paul Hernandez, who is operations manager at UC Berkeley's Harmer E. Davis Transportation Library, began taking these photos in 2005 at the onset of construction of the C.V. Starr East Asian Library from his 4th floor office window in McCone Hall. Hernandez came by his fascination with the progress of the building naturally. Years ago, he worked in construction.
