A celebration of the University of California, Berkeley's Haste Street Child Development Center, the state's first freestanding LEED-silver certified child care center.

The building is "green" all the way from the materials used in its construction down to furnishings and equipment, site development, chemical-free carpets, cleaning products and its recycling bins that help educate even the youngest Golden Bears about how to protect the planet.
