Judge to rule Wednesday on training center construction lawsuits
BERKELEY – A ruling on the three consolidated lawsuits over planned construction of UC Berkeley's new student-athlete training center is expected on Wednesday, June 18.
In a brief message on Thursday, Alameda County Superior Court Judge Barbara Miller informed the litigants that she is now ready to "file and serve a Statement of Decision in this case."
Once the decision has been received and analyzed, campus officials will hold a press conference to discuss the ruling and its ramifications. Exact timing and location for the press conference will depend on when, exactly, the ruling is distributed to the litigants.
