Kaczynski employed by UCB, confirmation

MEMO TO THE MEDIA

Several media organizations have asked UC Berkeley whether a man named Theodore Kaczynski was ever employed at the university.

The university can confirm that a Theodore J. Kaczynski, with a birthdate of 5/22/42, was hired as an assistant professor of mathematics for the 1967-68 school year. He resigned from university employment 6/30/69.
