Coming up: Career days for grad students

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BERKELEY--Prospective graduate students in law, business, international affairs and other fields are invited to attend any one of four career days being held at the University of California at Berkeley from Oct. 30 through Nov. 20.

The four events are expected to attract some 300 graduate and professional schools from around the U.S. and other countries to interview several thousand potential applicants from the UC Berkeley campus and the Bay Area.

All events, sponsored by UC Berkeley's Career Center, are free and open to the public. They will be held in the Pauley Ballroom of the Student Union, located at the corner of Bancroft Way and Telegraph Ave.

  • Graduate School Information Day: October 30, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
    Schools attending include graduate schools of arts and sciences plus some schools of business, law, medicine, engineering, public policy, education, social work and planning.

  • Law Day: November 12, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
    More than 95 law schools are expected.

  • International Affairs Career Information Day: November 13, noon-4 p.m.
    Besides schools of international affairs, business and administration, this event also includes employers from the public and private sectors. Panel discussions will be held in addition to the fair.

  • MBA/International Business Day November 20, noon-4 p.m.
    Schools of business from across the nation will attend.
