By Marie Felde, Public Affairs

BERKELEY-- A public meeting will be held Monday, Aug. 9, to present a revised plan to manage trees and other vegetation at Blake Garden, the 10-acre garden in Kensington (Contra Costa County) operated for teaching and research by the U.C.-Berkeley School of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design.

The meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Northbrae Community Church, 941 The Alameda, in North Berkeley. The meeting had originally been scheduled for Wurster Hall on the Berkeley campus but was relocated at the request of community members.

Assistant Professor Patricia Lindsey, director of Blake Garden, will present the revised plan followed by comment from members of the community.
