The Vice Chancellor and Provost Carol T. Christ has announced the Regents' Junior Faculty Fellowships for the summer of 1997. These fellowships provide summer salary awards of $4,500 for junior faculty members. Applications have been sent to all eligible junior faculty, deans and departmentchairs. Applicants should submit two copies of the application to their department chair by Friday, March 7. A more detailed description of the program as well as an electronic version of the application are available on-line at http://www.chance.berkeley.edu/apo/.
