Fast approaching is the Cal Family Tribute to Chancellor and Mrs. Tien, to be held Feb. 21, at 8 p.m. in Zellerbach Auditorium.

The gala evening will include music, readings and personal reminiscences of the Tien years, from students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Admission is free, but tickets are required and available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Zellerbach box office.

Campus groups to perform include the African music ensemble, gospel choir, symphony orchestra, young musicians, marching band, men's octet and the Center for the Theater Arts.

Proceeds from a $150 pre-event reception -- and contributions from others who wish to participate -- will support an Alumni Leadership Scholarship honoring the Tiens.
