En Masse, Grads Will Return For
Two-Day Celebration

More than a thousand alumni and their families are expected to return to campus for Cal Homecoming and Reunion Weekend '97, Sept. 19 and 20.

This event marks the start of an all-new, integrated homecoming and reunion celebration on campus. All alumni, regardless of graduation year, are welcome.

All day Friday and Saturday, participants may attend Inside Cal sessions, a lively lecture series offering 36 sessions on a range of topics presented by Berkeley professors. The sessions are free to registrants.

Schools, colleges, and affinity groups will host events throughout the weekend. Most of these open houses, receptions, picnics, and tours are open to the public. Some require advance registration and a fee to participate.

Special events include a keynote address by Chancellor Berdahl, Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Wheeler Hall. Saturday offers the Fun Zone, a pre-game extravaganza at Kleeberger Field with food and entertainment; the Cal vs. University of Oklahoma football game; a special convocation ceremony for the classes of '71 and '72; and a host of other reunions for school, college, and affinity alumni groups.
