Workers' Compensation And Vocational Rehabilitation

Workers' Compensation Benefits Refresher Workshop. Oct. 1, 9 a.m.-noon.

This class is designed as a refresher to cover the major points in the Workers' Compensation benefits process for those who have previously attended the Introductory and Advanced classes. To enroll, call Laurie Westphal at 643-9403.

New Employee Orientation. Oct. 7, 21, or Nov. 4, 8:30 a.m.-noon.

This orientation covers campus structure, campus culture, benefits, computer competency and safety-related issues. Presentations addressing these issues are given by staff from the campus police department; Environment, Health and Safety; University Health Services; and the campus benefits office.

Tools of the Trade: Resume Writing, Applications and Effective Interviewing. Oct. 17, 24 and 31, 9-11:30 a.m.

Learn how to develop the essential marketing tools needed for your job search in this three-session workshop. The development of a resume and cover letter, and assistance with interview preparation, are emphasized.
