Richard Atkinson

"I didn't feel a thing," said UC President Richard Atkinson, who was the first to get a shot in this year's campus flu vaccine program. Nurse Kathleen Ferris of Berkeley's University Health Services did the honors. This fall, in addition to the clinics at the Tang Center, UHS will offer a one-day clinic on-site at the Office of the President. Tang Center clinics will be held from noon to 6 p.m., Oct. 7, 15 and 26, Nov. 5 and 18 and Dec. 2. Cost for the vaccine is $10. No appointment is necessary.
