Carol Downes, tennis instructor for the Recreational Sports Facility's CalFIT program, demonstrates the finer points of the forehand stroke for students in her class. Downes teaches tennis techniques to beginning, intermediate and advanced players, with an emphasis on footwork, shot placement and serves.
