Photo of the Week: The Bells of Berkeley

Photo: Jeff Davis

New campus carillonist Jeff Davis perches next to one of the smaller of 61 bells in Sather Tower. Before his daily noontime performances, Davis must "regulate" the carillon, a process that is akin to tuning the bells, to make sure the length of the bell clapper wires have not changed from temperature drops overnight.
