Chang-LIn Tien released from hospital to home care
The professor of engineering and former chancellor has been hospitalized since Sept. 7 at UCSF Medical Center, where he received treatment for a cancerous brain tumor. Although he is alert, he has suffered some impairment. The long hospital stay has also taken a toll on his strength, said his son, Norman Tien. "We're hoping that bringing him home will help him a great deal," he said.
