Lange Fellowship winner exhibits at Moffitt Library
An exhibit of the photos of Peter Lemieux, recipient of the 2001 Dorothea Lange Fellowship in documentary photography, is currently on display in Moffitt Undergraduate Library.

Located next to the first-floor elevator bank, the exhibit features three showcases of photographs by Lemieux, as well as text and reference materials on acclaimed Depression-era photographer Dorothea Lange.

A graduate student at the Haas School of Business, Lemieux plans to use his fellowship to document the lives of migrant workers living in San Francisco’s Mission District. The exhibition showcases preliminary work he has done there and his description of the project, as well as a series of photographs he made in Cuba during the past decade.

The exhibit was designed by the Office of Public Affairs, which sponsors the annual fellowship. It will remain on display for most of the semester. See http://www.berkeley.edu/lange for information about the fellowship and this year’s winner.
