Special Issue: Campus Memorial Service program

Classes will be suspended from noon to 2 p.m., and all students, staff and faculty are encouraged to attend. The program for today’s service includes: UC Berkeley Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Robert Calonico Welcome Address by Chancellor Robert Berdahl Singing of the National Anthem led by the Men’s Octet & UC Chorus Remarks by UC Berkeley alumna & English lecturer Maxine Hong Kingston Singing of the Beatles song “Imagine” by ASUC Senator Joanne Liu Remarks by Anita Madrid,staff ombudsperson, & David Dowall, Singing of “Yesterday” by the Golden Overtones Remarks by Chancellor Berdahl, ASUC President Wally Adeyemo, & English professor Robert Hass Singing of America the Beautiful Ringing of the Campanile bells
