Mail Services offers warning on packages
Following recent cases of anthrax transmitted through the mail, Mail Services is reminding campus customers to report suspicious letters and packages to the UC Police Department or to the Postal Inspection Service.

Visit public-safety.berkeley.edu/documents/handling_mail.pdf for tips on spotting suspicious packages. In addition, because of increased postal security, all mail pieces sent from campus must bear a valid university return address, and Mail Services will enforce its policy of not picking up outgoing personal mail.

For details, contact Mail Services at 642-MAIL.
