Testing science IQ, at Wonderfest

Teams from two top Bay Area schools squared off in the Wondercup Challenge Championship, held in Wheeler Auditorium last weekend. The science quiz was part of the Bay Area Festival of Science, “Wonderfest 2001,” which brought world-class scientists to campus to consider such weighty questions as what is life and will we survive? Quiz participants included from left, Albany High School students Jane Kim, David Barroll, George Zhu and Jojo Chang; and, at right, Elena Fabrikant and Kai Dai of Fremont’s Mission San Jose High.
