Supervisors honored for ‘keeping it light’

Thirty-seven supervisors and managers from departments across campus were recently honored with Berkeley Staff Assembly “Excellence in Management” awards. This year’s recipients were selected for their ability to “keep it light in the workplace,” despite heavy workloads, budget constraints, and other stressors. Selection for the award is based on nominations submitted by the staff of supervisors and managers. A ceremony celebrating the winners was held on Monday, May 12.
