Awards bestowed for workplace success stories
23 July 2003
Nine units on the Berkeley campus were honored last month for implementing workplace practices that successfully embrace fairness, representation, and inclusiveness. The theme for this year’s “Workplace Success Stories” recognition program was “Maximizing Employee Input in Managerial Decision Making.” Each of the honored departments received a certificate at a special ceremony held in the ASUC’s Pauley Ballroom on June 24, and the 498 individuals who designed and implemented the practices were given pins.
The following list cites those departments that received honors and includes brief explanations of their successful practices. Visit hrweb.berkeley.edu/aaeeo/success/call.htm#criteria for information on the Workplace Success Stories recognition program.
