Jeff Prince
Jeff Prince, director of Counseling and Psychological Services at the University Health Services, has been elected a Fellow of the American Psychological Association.

Prince is recognized as one of the nationís foremost authorities on career counseling. Heís particularly interested in career-interest assessment and has championed its importance during his 15 years at Berkeley. ďA huge part of a college studentís mental health is related to how his or her career plan is developing,Ē he says.

Prince will address the association at its national conference in August 2004.

Marvin Cohen, Steven Louie
The Foresight Institute has awarded physicists Marvin Cohen and Steven Louie its 2003 Feynman Prize. The award goes to researchers whose theoretical or experimental work has advanced the development of nanotechnology. The prize, awarded by the Palo Alto-based institute, carries a $5,000 award.

Regents Junior Faculty Fellows
Ten Berkeley assistant professors have been named recipients of the 2003-04 Regents Junior Faculty Fellowship. The winners and their departmental affiliations are Michelle Lopez, art practice; Lori Markson, psychology; Dawne Moon, sociology; Kara Nelson, civil and environmental engineering; Lynn Nichols, linguistics; Isha Ray, Energy and Resources Group; Norman Spaulding, law; Susan Stone, social welfare; Ashley Thompson, South and Southeast Asian studies; and Bryan Wagner, English.
