Now in its 25th year, the Pacific Coast Collegiate Jazz Festival is the largest student-operated college jazz festival in the nation. Performances and competitions will be held in Zellerbach Hall, Wheeler Auditorium and the UC Choral Rehearsal Hall, located in the César Chavez Student Center. Admission to the festival is $7 per day or $10 for a two-day pass. Tickets can be purchased at the Zellerbach Playhouse lobby April 30 and Zellerbach Hall on May 1. A clinic featuring jazz-funk saxophonist Michael Brecker, winner of seven Grammy Awards and co-founder of the influential jazz group the Brecker Brothers, takes place at 3 p.m. in the Choral Rehearsal Hall. Brecker has performed with some of the biggest names in music, including Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones, John Lennon and Bruce Springsteen. For jazz festival information, call 642-5062. Performances. The UC Jazz Ensemble will open the show at 7
