News Briefs Posted October 27, 1999 Just Three Flu Shot Clinics to Go Nearly 2,500 people from campus made their way to the Tang Center for a flu shot during the first three clinics. If you weren't among them, you have three more opportunities. The final three clinics are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 5, Thursday, Nov. 18 and Thursday, Dec. 2. All clinics are from noon to 6 p.m. in the Class of '42 Room on the first floor of the Tang Center, 2222 Bancroft Way. No appointment is necessary. Cost for the vaccine is $10.

UC Ballroom Dancers will present its semi-formal Fall Ball Saturday, Nov. 13, in the Pauley Ballroom of MLK Jr. Student Union. Starting at 8:30 p.m. and running until 12:30 a.m., the evening will feature a Latin performance by professional dancers Titus and Silke Bergstrom; a Jack and Jill contest in rumba; demonstrations of Argentine tango and samba by Formation Teams; and plenty of ballroom dancing.
