The theme for this year’s award is “Managing Work/Life Quality.” Staff will honor managers and supervisors who have created work arrangements that enhance employees’ ability to integrate work and personal life interests, while maintaining or improving job performance. Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Carol Christ, Vice Chancellor for Business and Administrative Services Horace Mitchell and Director of Human Resources Alice Gregory will join in honoring this year’s award recipients. Carol Hoffman, co-chair of the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee and Manager of Work/Life Program Development at University Health Services, is keynote speaker. To receive the Excellence in Management Award, managers and supervisors must be nominated by a majority of the staff they directly supervise. [ Back to top ]
