Photo: Taking Steps for the Cure Posted June 9, 1999 To promote Berkeley's participation in the 12th annual AIDS Walk San Francisco -- to be held Sunday, July 18 -- Peg Berdahl, campus' honorary chair for the event, joined the Health*Matters Walking Group for a brisk walk through campus. Her puppy, Wheeler, came along. Berkeley will again join UCSF and the Office of the President to form a UC team. A letter from Mrs. Berdahl, accompanied by a registration form, was sent to all staff and faculty at the end of May.
