The workshop is scheduled for Sept. 26 in Sibley Auditorium, Bechtel Engineering Center. Her presentation, "To Prosper or Just Survive, That Is the Question," will start the day of panel discussions and presentations. Hi-tech gurus such as Peg Boyle, founder of MentorNet, and Sheila Casteneda, chair of Computer Science at Clark University and director of Collaborative Research Experiences for Women, join academicians Robert White, chair of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, Randy Katz, chair of Berkeley's EECS Department, and others in a day-long series of events to encourage undergrads to study engineering.
