Free, Confidential Screenings for Anxiety Disorders
May 6, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Martin Luther King Student Union, 3rd floor
This free, confidential screening program includes a short video, a questionaire and a discussion of the results with a mental health professional. Referrals for follow-up evaluation and treatment will be available.

Communicating When You're Angry
May 24, 1-4:30 p.m.
Anger is an instructive emotion that lets you know when you may have been injured or wronged. Simply reacting angrily, however, may make problems worse. This workshop helps participants learn ways of translating anger into effective communication. Methods will include lecture, self-assessment, discussion and practice sessions.

Dealing with Difficult Situations and Behaviors in the Workplace
June 4, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Dealing with difficult situations, our own emotions, and incompatible styles presents a difficult challenge in the workplace. This workshop helps participants learn ways to analyze and deal with problematic situations, people and personal styles in constructive ways. Excellence in Supervision: Promoting a Safe and Healthy Work Environment

This new, interactive class is designed to assist managers and supervisors in providing a safe and healthy work environment. Learn about supervisory responsibilities for health and safety, campus resources, developing a prevention action plan, how to investigate and what to do when an injury occurs. Co-taught by EH&S and University Health Services.
