Publications Posted May 12, 1999 Zack Rogow Graduate School of Education Senior Editor Zack Rogow' has a new book of poetry, "The Selfsame Planet," published by Mayapple Press. The volume includes dramatic monologues written in the persona of women artists, among them Josephine Baker, George Sand and Willa Cather -- and more personal poems with related themes.'The Selfsame Planet' is an intriguing study of love and loneliness, longing and the human flaw that requires it," poet Linda McCarriston wrote. "....I was moved by this seemingly understated but daring and beautiful collection." Rogow is author of three previous books of poetry. He will read from "The Selfsame Planet" on Monday, May 17, at Circadia, 2727 Mariposa St. (at Bryant) in San Francisco. He'll read again Sunday, June 27, at the Berkeley Barnes & Noble store on Shattuck Avenue. Both readings begin at 7:30 p.m.
