Coping with the Personal Impact of Proposition 209: One Year Later

This videotape of the Oct., 1998, campus speakers forum features a diverse panel of staff describing their personal experiences surrounding the passage of Proposition 209. The panelists speak eloquently to the impacts of Prop 209, encourage dialogue among faculty and staff, and foster civility and respect for oneself and one another in the process.
No enrollment necessary.

Doing It for the Kids: Couples During Major Life Transitions
Oct. 6, noon-1:00 p.m., Section Club, Tang Center
Couples facing major family transitions are likely to feel anxiety and confusion. The speakers' research makes it clear that it is not only parenting that affects children's development, but also how parents manage their own relationships as couples. No enrollment necessary.
